C46400 Naval Brass is a high-strength copper-zinc-tin alloy specifically developed for marine and industrial applications. With about 60% copper, 39% zinc, and ~1% tin, it offers outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion, dezincification, and biofouling. This alloy combines strength, toughness, and wear resistance with good machinability, making it a preferred material for shipbuilding, marine hardware, and heavy-duty industrial components.

The high leaded naval brass C48500 is available in compliance with ASTM B21, AMS 4611 standards and is appreciated for high thermal and electrical conductivity. The material is highly ductile and easy to weld and is also appreciated for creeping resistance and low volatility under high vacuum.
